FENIX will visit your home or office* with all the tools and parts needed to service or build your new dream bicycle. FENIX Cycles services and repairs all types of bicycles across Brisbane leaving you more time to ride. We carry most parts required for general services but if you need something specific we can order it in; or you can BYO parts, whatever suits you. *Travel surcharge may apply

Parts and Accessories

Whilst we try and stock as much as possible, we can’t keep everything on hand in our FENIX van. If there’s something you need that we don’t carry, we can get it to you in 2-3 days at very competitive prices. This includes all parts, bike accessories and the entire ride… yes! we’ll even find you your new bike.

Starter Service

This package is not available for e-bikes.

$99/Recommended: Every 6–12 months, depending on usage.

Best for: Infrequent riders, bikes in good condition needing basic maintenance. Includes;

Core Service

standard bikes & e-bikes (hub and mid-drive).

$149/Every 6 months for frequent riders or annually for casual riders.

Best for: Regular riders, bikes showing signs of wear, or in need of mid-level maintenance. Includes;
Brake adjustment
Check/Tighten all bolts
Frame clean
Gear adjustment
Headset/stem check
Lubricate cables
Lubricate chain
Spoke Check
Tyre pressure check
Wheel true – basic
Safety inspection

Advanced Service

Suitable for all bikes, including e-bikes.

$199/Recommended: Every 6 months to 1 year, depending on ride intensity.

Best for: High-performance bikes, bikes in poor condition, or after heavy riding/racing. Includes everything in the Core Service, plus:
Headset/stem check (and grease)
Lubricate cables
Lubricate chain
Spoke Check
Bottom bracket check and grease
Brake Pads deglazed
Brake surface clean
Chain wear check
Frame wash and wax
Hub adjustment
Seat posts removal with clean and regrease
Lubricate derailleur pivot points
Drivetrain degrease/clean
Tyre Replacement where required [1]

Ultimate Service

Ideal for performance bikes, racing prep, or full rebuilds.

$From 349/Recommended: Every 12–18 months or as needed.

Best for: Long-term maintenance, bikes needing complete restoration, or annual overhaul. Includes everything in the Advanced Service, plus:
Full strip down of bike to bare frame
All components cleaned, re-greased and reinstalled
Headset and bottom bracket overhaul
Internal cabling inspected and replaced if needed
Bearing inspection and replacement (parts not included)
Full torque spec rebuild
Free hub service
Rear derailleur, jockey wheel & cage service
Hydraulic brake flush & bleed
Test ride and detailed inspection report

ADD-ON SERVICES

(Add any of the following to your service package. Labour only; parts not included unless specified.)

• E-Bike Add-On – $39 Riding electric? Add this to your service for a full electrical inspection and firmware update.

• Brake Bleed (each end): $30 —Bleed your hydraulic brakes to remove air, replace old fluid, and restore solid stopping power.

• Tubeless Setup (per wheel): $40

• Bike Wash & Degrease: $35 — A proper clean keeps everything running smoother for longer. This add-on removes built-up grime, protects your components, and helps extend the life of your bike.

• Bar Tape / Grip Install: $30

• Chain Install: $25

• Cassette Install: $20

• Bottom Bracket Replacement: $40

• Gear Cable Replace (external): $30

• Gear Cable Replace (internal): $45

• Install Accessories (racks, baskets, seats, etc.): POA

• Suspension Setup or Sag Adjustment: $35

• Custom builds or major repairs – $110/hr labour (discounts for 7+ hrs)

SMALL JOBS

Small Jobs & Minimum Charges

Some visits are quick, but there’s still time involved in travelling, setting up, and packing down. For that reason, we have a Minimum Spend Policy based on how far we’re travelling to reach you.

Minimum Spend by Travel Zone:

(Distance from Warner, QLD 4500 – road travel distance)

Using Google maps is a great way to get an idea on travel costs. Enter the service address and add WARNER as your destination.

Zone Minimum Spend Requirements:

0-10km: $50
10-20km: $89
20-30km: $129
Beyond 30km: $179 + $4/km (one-way)

Important: The minimum spend ensures your service location is covered. However, travel fees still apply on top of the minimum spend—depending on the distance we need to travel.

For example, if your service address is in the 20-30km zone ($129 minimum), you’d pay the $129 minimum plus the $45 travel surcharge.

At Fenix Cycles and Mechanical, we don’t just service standard bikes—we look after the unique ones too. From hand cycles and trikes to cargo bikes, recumbents, mobility cycles, and even stationary bikes, we’ve got the tools and experience to keep them running smoothly.

This includes everything from our Core Service, plus:

Gear and brake adjustments
Electrical system checks (for e-assist models)
Custom fitting and setup support
General tune-ups and safety checks
Wheel truing
Safety check of steering linkage bolts, arms, or cables
Inspection of cargo racks, baskets, seat belts, rain covers, and child accessories
